With 2018 around the corner, as the MFCEO of GRRRL Clothing- I felt It was necessary to rename the shorts we just released. Originally called “Joygasm” due to the fact that these shorts are the perfect length for ALL body types in ALL forms of movement (whether you’re warming up your deadlift with your Dad’s Personal best, punching someone in the face at fight training or walking your newborn in a pram-), I noticed that there was an interesting little outcome with the vector one of our graphics women created.
Since there’s no such thing as coincidence- I realized that 2018 is OUR FKN YEAR! The future is GRRRL.
In light of everything that has surfaced this past year and beyond- from Bill Cosby’s disgraceful ass, to Harvy Weinerstein- and our POTUS making the flabbergasting statement of “grab em by the pussy”, we are finally saying “we do not give a FUCK what you think and we are STEPPING UP AND OUT!” Just like these goddamn shorts.
Some may find this print shocking- but what’s even more shocking is the amount of stillness and silence we’ve experienced despite women being violated spiritually, emotionally and physically. What’s even more sad- is that in the developed worlds, we’re all _______ because of mainstream advertising and media - causing us to feel so pitiful that we cannot focus our sites on getting proactive in women’s rights in third world countries where females are child brides, I allowed education, the right to vote, to drive- have an abortion. Since learning the founder of #metoo is dropping the ball on NYE in Times Square- I’m fully convinced that 2018 is the year it ALL changes.

Just yesterday I came across a debate in a closed BJJ (Brazilian jiujitsu) group I belong to discussing whether Trans women should be able to compete in the women’s class. Without hesitation, the following words rolled of my tongue and through my keyboard like water, letting me know that a new era is upon us:

Women are no longer wanting to fight each other. We want to fix each other’s crowns and push fucking ahead. Women are lifting heavier weights, joining combat sports, and are DONE hating their body. It’s evident that the wild banshee spirit has arose within all of us- and were ready to catapult each other into the 4th dimension.
As we truly believe that if the female energy isn’t lifted up and liberated- were fucked as a human race. So may 2018 be the year we change the game women!
