Beckie Campbell

Beckie Campbell is a wife, mother and freelance graphic designer living in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. After 11 years working in the sign and graphic industry, and a move for her husband’s job, she branched out on her own with the focus of helping small businesses put their best face forward through quality branding and logos. She also enjoys working in traditional and digital painting and is always trying new techniques to hone her skills. Beckie is thrilled to have the opportunity of working closely with GRRRL Clothing to create designs women can wear while they change the world. Understanding the importance of inclusion without judgment and the empowerment of women everywhere, the mission of the GRRRL brand is something she can proudly stand behind.

How did you find grrrl?
My introduction to GRRRL Clothing was through a Facebook post a friend shared and I immediately identified with the message.

What attracts you to be involved with us?
I believe we need to lift ourselves, and each other, to truly know our worth. The community of strong, supportive and empowered women I’ve found through this brand has been key in a lot of my own personal growth. I am proud to be involved with a company that carries forward such a positive ethos.

Dog or cat?
Cats, low maintenance, like me.

Any other message to share with the world?
Quit doubting yourself, you are meant for wonderful things.

Erin Kopach

I am a freelance artist that specializes in 3d environment and prop art for media with focus on video game and entertainment projects. I’m a huge NERD and love learning new programs and new technologies, most recently I have been doing work with 3d print art. And of course pattern designing for GRRRL!

How did you find grrrl?
A few years back I had just started weight training and was looking for all the hints and tips I could find. Kortney’s watermelon-squashing video was trending and I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw it! I followed GRRRL on social media and just fell in love with the design and the positivity. When an art contest rolled around, I submitted a few designs which Courtney loved and contacted me about working with her. I was delighted!

What attracts you to be involved with us?
Everything about GRRRL is awesome! I love the inclusivity, the attitude, the stereotype-breaking realness. It’s just such a breath of fresh air amidst all the toxicity. My favorite leggings (so far) are the Kush pocket next levels. I can fit so much stuff in them! Phone, pocket warmers, etc. The packaging too is minimal and recycled; as an artist I am conscientious about how things are made and I’m really happy that GRRRL also cares.

Dog or cat?
Oh no, I can’t choose! I love all animals. Currently I have two dwarf rabbits.

Any other message to share with the world?
Be curious, ask questions and don’t be so quick to make assumptions. Living abroad has really stressed how important this one is; there is so much that can be misunderstood through language barriers or a lack of understanding of historical or cultural context.
